Peytant Solutions, Inc.: Awarded & Graduated

When John Schorgl and his team set goals, they tend to reach them! Peytant Solutions was recently awarded a grant for BioBusiness from Regenerative Medicine Minnesota for a human amnion tissue covered scaffold, called the AmnioStent™, for the treatment of malignant airway strictures. The goal of this grant is to conduct sterilization and biocompatibility validation testing of AmnioStent per the FDA Guidance for Premarket Notifications of Esophageal and Tracheal Prostheses and preparation of the FDA 510k application.

Additionally, because Peytant Solutions was bursting at the seams from its original location within UEL, Schorgl and team "graduated" from UEL to their new site in Plymouth, Minn. While the UEL innovation community misses Peytant Solutions, we couldn't be more proud of the trajectory of this young company and the promise held within its technologies.
