UEL is a state-of-the-art laboratory & office facility that enables entrepreneurial life science companies to develop their technologies while growing their businesses.  Over 300 FTE's work across the 40 companies currently calling UEL home.

Laboratories

• High-end wet lab space located in secure corridors. Labs range from 800-1,200 rentable square feet and are furnished with laboratory-grade cabinets and countertops, flammable material storage cabinets, six-foot fume hoods, and sinks

• Flexible dry-lab space

 

Collaborative Wet Lab Space

• High-end wet lab space located in secure corridor, in close proximity to shared-equipment suites

• Ready-to-go lab with multiple shared island benches amongst three fume-hooded workstations and a dark room

Offices

• Flexible office space -- either affiliated with labs or private rooms

• UEL Office Suite -- small individual offices rented on month-to-month basis, which also benefit from shared office equipment, conference space and UEL camaraderie and programming

 

The UEL 'Garage'

The UEL Garage is meant to provide a “no-frills,” easily accessible and cost-effective space for entrepreneurs seeking to develop new technology and needing access to lab space and other technical facilities. This 3,700 square foot portion of the facility provides space at a cost of less than $12.00 per square foot along with flexible lease terms. Garage tenants also benefit from shared amenities, such as conference space and shared scientific equipment.
