UEL Completes $375,000 Parking Lot Project

University Enterprise Laboratories in October of 2016 completed one of its most visible and impactful property improvements when it repaved or completely replaced its more than 180,000 square foot parking lot that surrounds the building.

The project, begun on October 11 and completed October 26 by ACI (Asphalt & Concrete Inc.) of Maple Grove, MN, also included new curb, landscaping and drainage. It involved the removal and replacement of the entire parking lot on the west side of the building, and the resurfacing of the South, East and North portions of the parking lot.

“This was an important project for the UEL us,” said Greg LaSalle, UEL’s Building Manager. “UEL tenants have been extremely patient as we’ve worked through other high-priority projects, including the replacement of the roof and improvements in lighting and heating, cooling and ventilation systems. It’s really nice to turn in now; the new parking lot greatly improves that all-important first impression of the UEL.”
