Lions Gift of Sight helps restore sight through eye donation, serving eye donors and family members from Minnesota, North Dakota, and western Wisconsin. Founded in 1960 through a partnership of the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation and the University of Minnesota, Lions Gift of Sight provides donor eye tissue for transplant, research and medical education locally, nationally and internationally. As one of the largest and most innovative eye banks in the world, Lions Gift of Sight has helped restore sight by providing more than 30,000 corneas for transplant and more than 25,000 eyes for ocular research.
